From body design to vehicle performance evaluation, the R&D Open Day offered students a unique opportunity to engage with engineers from various departments and gain firsthand knowledge of the diverse projects underway.
For many attendees, like Aleck, a mechanical engineering student, the event opened their eyes to new areas of interest within the automotive industry.
“I came today to learn more about car performance and powertrains,” Aleck shared, “but it was really interesting to see the work that engineers do on the body design of a vehicle. I am really happy to have taken part, and to now also focus in that direction.”
