Urges the youth of today to be fire trained and be prepared if the need arises

Mumbai, 14 August 2020: Every actor has to perform a variety of scenes as the script demands. Whether it is the big screen or on television, action sequences help in enhancing the narrative and keeping the audience gripped to the story. It could be fight sequence with goons or doing deadly stunts, actors are all prepped to give their best. One such sequence was performed on the sets of Pyar Ki Luka Chuppi which currently airs on Dangal TV where Alan Kapoor had to douse a fire (not literally), but got trained while performing the sequence.

In an interesting turn of events, we see that an employee of the company sets the record room on fire. Alan Kapoor who plays the role of Angad comes to the rescue and becomes a firefighter to douse the flames. Talking about this fire-packed scene Alan shares, “When I was using the fire extinguisher to put out the fire, there was a sudden burst in the pressurized cylinder. There was smoke all around with some white powdery stuff on me. The whole crew and I were scared and even suggested that I move out of the place. However, the safety expert who was on the set said that it was very normal and something that we shouldn’t be panicking about. He said it was fixable and we were ready to go. So yes, this was a very different experience for me. I hope no one is ever in a situation to use it, but if at all they are, they must make sure they are trained for it.”

Alan Kapoor further talks about how courageous the firefighters are and salutes them for their bravery and presence of mind. He urges the youth of today to take the initiative and get fire trained and be prepared should in case the need arises. While buildings and premises have fire extinguishers installed, it is very important to know the technique to use it at that crucial time of crisis.

He adds, “I think if I did not learn to use the fire extinguisher during the shoot, I would have never known how to use it in a real-life situation. I am glad I am trained now and I think everyone should know such basic things.”
