Sylvester daCunha, the ad legend who along with the Milkman of India, Verghese Kurien, initiated one of the longest-standing topical brand campaign of the country- the iconic Amul Girl, has passed away.
His funeral will take place at 4 pm today at RC Church.
He had conceived the ‘Utterly Butterly’ ad campaign for Amul in 1966, which is still popular amongst the masses.
The ad fraternity has been conveying their condolences and heartfelt goodbyes on social media platforms.
