In shortlists announced as of 18 June in multiple categories of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2023, a total of 43 Indian entries (including those entered jointly) are in the race for metal.
As the festival kicks off today, Leo Burnett (13), Dentsu (8), Talented (7) lead Indian shortlists.
Different units of FCB India (6), DDB Mudra (2), Mindshare (2), Wondrlab, BBDO, Brand David, Studio Eeksarus and Hungry Films are also in the hunt for a Cannes Lion. Ogilvy is the lone contender in the Glass Lions category from India.
