Advertising Rocks is an attempt to provide a stage for India’s creative community to demonstrate their musical abilities
On the Day 3 of Goafest 2023, Advertising Rocks, an attempt to provide a stage for India’s creative community to demonstrate their musical abilities, kicked off. Through Advertising Rocks, a first-of-its-kind initiative at Goafest, the organising committee encourages and invites bands and solo performers from the Indian advertising and media community to submit entries and gain the opportunity to entertain attendees at South Asia’s largest creative festival at Goafest 2023
With three categories – Vocals Solos (Indian), Vocals Solos (Western) and Bands (Indian & Western – mixed), finalists of the competition performed for judges including – Papon – Indian Playback Singer, Rajeev Raja – Founder & Soundsmith – Brandmusiq, Merlin D’Souza – Founding Partner & Principal Composer – Brandmusiq, and Curator – Subhash Kamath – Former CEO, BBH & Publicis Worldwide, India. The winning bands stand to win cash prizes of Rs. 2,00,000 and Rs. 1,00,000 for the first and second place respectively and soloists stand to win cash prizes of Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 25,000 for the first and second place respectively.
The participants gave stellar performances. And finally the winners were chosen on the basis of judges and live audience voting. The winners are as follows
