Under his visionary leadership, the HCA is set to launch Mega Summer Cricket Camps from April 20th, 2024, offering free training to aspiring cricketers in 25 centers across the state.
Committed to the holistic development of cricket in Telangana districts, Jagan Mohan Rao Arishnapally has spearheaded the initiative to provide free training to at least 2500 cricketers for a duration of 30 days. With expert coaching staff and state-of-the-art facilities, these camps aim to nurture talent from diverse backgrounds and create opportunities for aspiring cricketers to fulfill their potential.
In a media conference held at Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad, Jagan Mohan Rao Arishnapally announced the launch of the Mega Summer Cricket Camps, underscoring the HCA’s dedication to promoting grassroots cricket and inclusivity in sports. The initiative reflects his unwavering commitment to democratizing access to cricket training and providing a platform for underprivileged cricketers to showcase their talent.
Each district in Telangana will receive Rs. 15 lakhs in funds from the HCA, demonstrating the organization’s commitment to equitable development across the state. With three training centers established in each district, aspiring cricketers will have the opportunity to receive expert coaching and access to nutritious food during the 30-day training period.
Jagan Mohan Rao Arishnapally’s vision extends beyond the summer camps; he envisions these training centers evolving into cricket academies that serve as incubators for future talent. To ensure the highest quality of coaching, the HCA is prepared to deploy NIS coaches and physios to districts where expert resources are scarce.
In addition to promoting grassroots cricket, Jagan Mohan Rao Arishnapally has addressed critical infrastructure issues, including the electricity problem at Uppal Stadium. Through collaboration with government officials and senior power department officials, the HCA has resolved the stadium’s electricity arrears, ensuring uninterrupted power supply for future matches and events.
The modernization efforts at Uppal Stadium reflect Jagan Mohan Rao Arishnapally’s commitment to enhancing the infrastructure of cricket facilities in Telangana. With new roofing, seating, and floodlights, Uppal Stadium stands as a symbol of pride for the state and a testament to the HCA’s dedication to excellence in sports.
