Ranju Ki Betiyaan – Marriage proposal for Shalu

Mumbai: When Bulbul hears Gullu’s mother Vimla insulting her mother she gets angry and defends Ranju.

Ranju tells Vimla that instead of pointing your finger at her daughter ask your son what he did that made Bulbul angry. Once the issue gets resolved, Gullu’s father apologies and leaves.

Later in the day, Buvan (Guddu’s assistant) enters the house and gives a money envolope to Ranju which was given by Guddu Mishra. The girls especially Shalu don’t like Bhuvan as he reminds them of their father’s existence. Bhuvan tells Ranju and her mother in law that Guddu has seen a boy for Shalu. Ranju clearly tells him that she wants Shalu to focus on her career and declines the proposal. Dadi gets upset by Ranju’s quick rejection of proposal but Ranju makes her understand that she wants her daughter to be independent instead of becoming the second Ranju.
