Poddar will be the Country Director at Apple Services
Disney+ Hotstar’s EVP and Head of Ads Shalini Poddar is joining Apple Services as Country Director.
She had joined Disney+ Hotstar in November 2021, and was responsible for the platform’s ad sales, revenue and strategy. Her role involved business planning, sales and sales strategy.
Prior to D+H, Poddar was with Google as the Head of Business Development, Google Play Apps – India, South East Asia and Australia, and worked for more than eight years with the tech giant.
Before this, she was the Engagement Manager at Accenture Management Consulting. She started her career as a Summer Intern with Deutsche Bank and then went on to join Kotak Mahindra Bank as Associate Vice-President, Client Relations.
Poddar graduated from Delhi University and has done her MBA in marketing from IIM, Calcutta.
