The broadcaster has bagged the rights for the Indian subcontinent and MENA region for the tournament to be played from July 30 to August 21.
Star Sports has bagged the television media rights for the upcoming Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2023, scheduled to be played in Sri Lanka from July 30 to August 21.
Star Sports will exclusively telecast the tournament live in India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives and the MENA region, including UAE.

Confirming the development in a statement, Star Sports said the association will see the upcoming season reach a wider audience.
Among international players participating in LPL 2023 will be Babar Azam, Shakib Al Hasan, David Miller, Thisara Parera, Wanidu Hasaranga, Angelo Mathews and Dasun Shanaka. Five teams will compete in matches hosted in Colombo and Kandy.
