Ms. Swathi Reddy Gunupati is an angel investor and a second-generation entrepreneur. Currently, she is serving as an Executive Director of IQuest Enterprises and the Founder of “Mudhra Ventures”.
She has demonstrated her expertise in investments and business development by successfully expanding her family business portfolio into diverse sectors, ranging from semiconductors to aerospace and entertainment to pharma. Having studied family business management and Women Entrepreneurship from Stanford University, she started her journey as a management intern at Sony Entertainment Singapore and went on to work as a business development associate in Maa TV (now Star Maa).
With her passion & rich experience in media & entertainment, she ventured into film production and produced the psychological thriller movie “Mangalavaaram” directed by Ajay Bhupathi under the banner “Mudhra Media Works”. Ms. Swathi is also passionate about supporting lifestyle brands that resonate with their consumers. Leveraging a combination of traditional values and contemporary business strategies, she made significant investments in various entities such as “RAPS” – a leading aerospace company, “Pahadi Local”- a personal wellness brand, “Dough mama”- a gourmet pizza brand and “see-saw spaces” – a children wellness studio through her own firm “Mudhra ventures” along with her partner Mr. Gunupati Pranav Reddy. Among these, notably, Dough mama is recognized as one of the fastest-growing fast food brands with high QSR (Quick Servicing Restaurant) ratings and serves the pizza lovers of Hyderabad through their 4 outlets.
