With the announcement of Liz’s departure comes the exciting news of a new chapter for The GreenMount School. The Board of Trustees, after careful consideration and deliberation, is proud to introduce Bonita L. Lea as our next Head of School, effective July 1, 2024. Bonita’s appointment comes as a testament to her experience, leadership acumen, and unwavering commitment to educational excellence.
Born and raised in Baltimore City, Bonita brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of our community to her new role. Her journey as an educator and leader spans across various levels of education, from preschool to middle school, and her leadership roles reflect her dedication to fostering an environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
