Singapore: Unilever, partnered with Wunderman Thompson Singapore’s Lux team, launched their #StayBeautifulStayStrong campaign last week.
#StayBeautifulStayStrong comes at a time where we are all called to show resilience in times of a crisis. The campaign shows that even in lockdown, creativity flourishes and beautiful blooms.
Armed with the insight that women all over the world were embracing beauty as a means of expression and comfort, Wunderman Thompson Singapore created a film to show how beauty can be a source of strength.
“Lux believes that beauty is a source of strength and that has never been more true than in these tough times. As a flagbearer of unapologetic femininity, we wanted to send out a message of hope to all, by celebrating those who keep their chin up, their lipstick on and their faces smiling as they go about managing their work, family and so much more, “said Severine Vauleon, Global Brand VP of Lux, Unilever.
The film was produced in a week, with composed music and sourced User Generated Content. Wunderman Thompson Singapore’s Director of Integrated Content, Gerri Hamill shared, “With COVID-19 social distancing in place, we have adapted with creative and production solutions. We tapped into the one resource that we had in great abundance – UGC created and shared by women all over the world showing solidarity and strength in such a difficult time. What better way to create a video about strength than to showcase real content from real-life glam women?”
