The food and grocery delivery platform which has been known for creating some of the various riveting and quirky ad campaigns across touchpoints, Zomato, has come up with a new print ad.
The sweet yet simple ad tends to send the consumers on a nostalgic ride with the lines like “Somewhere between… ‘papa, aate hue pastry le aana’ to ‘ papa pastry aa gyi’ we all grew up”.
The ad has been rolled out in the print publication for the announcement of two of the iconic bakeries of Delhi that for years have been all about takeaway and are only now exploring the option of delivering in the city.
These two bakeries include 1926 established Wenger’s and 1969 established Maxim’s Bakers and confectioners.
This is not the first time that Zomato has come up with such a heart-touching campaign. Earlier, it had conceptualised the OOH ad “Doodh Maangoge, Doodh Denge. Kheer Maangoge, Kheer Denge”, or the infamous “Zomato vs Zomato” campaign which aims to bring forth the right pronunciation of the platform.
