Mumbai : The 3rd Edition of the Healthcare Innovation Conclave was a grand success, bringing together healthcare professionals, innovators, and thought leaders to explore the future of healthcare and wellness. Under the theme “Healthcare 4.0: A Vision for Smart and Connected Healthcare & Wellness,” the event featured dynamic discussions, keynote speeches, and insightful presentations that illuminated the path toward a smarter, more integrated healthcare system. Hosted at MIT World Peace University, Pune, the conclave served as a platform for exploring cutting-edge advancements in healthcare technology, digital transformation, and holistic wellness.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Farooq Shaikh, Founder of Aristocrat Media, and Umesh Unnikrishnan, Director of the Medical Value Travel Council of India, setting the tone for a day of insightful discourse. Urvashi Prasad, Director of the Office of the Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog, delivered the keynote speech, emphasizing the government’s commitment to advancing healthcare innovation and the importance of digital transformation in improving patient outcomes and accessibility.

The first panel of the event, titled “Digital Transformation in Healthcare: Bridging the Gap Between Hospitals and HealthTech,” was moderated by Senior Healthcare Consultant, Dr. Shalaka Sawant. Esteemed panelists like Rahul Datta, Senior VP at Ankura Hospital; Col. (retd) Dr. Sunil Rao, Group COO of Sahyadri Group of Hospitals; Dr. Anuj Tiwari, Group CEO at Sparsh Hospital; and Dr. Rajiv Kumar Agarwal, Medical Director at Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, discussed how technology is reshaping hospital operations and improving patient engagement. They explored key challenges in care delivery and shared insights on how digital transformation is addressing these issues effectively.
Standalone presentations added depth to the discussions, with Arvind Pachhapur, Chief Commercial Officer at Strand Life Sciences, shedding light on the role of genomics in wellness and disease prevention. Rahul Sharma, Director and Head of Technical & Derivatives Research, followed with a presentation on emerging healthcare investment opportunities. Amol Shinde, Product Specialist at Tata Tele Business Services, then showcased how cloud technologies, specifically Azure for Healthcare, are empowering hospitals with scalable, secure, and efficient solutions for patient data management.
A second panel, “AI-Powered Healthcare: Transforming Patient Care and Operational Efficiency,” moderated by Jyoti David, AGM – Communications at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, delved into the transformative role of artificial intelligence in healthcare. Experts such as Arvind Pachhapur of Strand Life Sciences, Nilesh Sahasrabudhe, Founder & CEO of NordicMojo, Dr. Rishabh Bhandari, Founder of Medisha.com, and Aditya Patkar, CEO of Plus91 Technologies Pvt. Ltd., highlighted how AI is enhancing clinical accuracy and operational efficiency within healthcare systems globally.
The final panel discussion, “Holistic Wellness: Integrating Wellness in Daily Life,” moderated by Dr. Kushan Shah, Principal Physician at Nature Cure Ashram, Pune, explored the growing emphasis on holistic health and wellness. Dr. Manoj Kutteri, Medical Director & CEO of Atmantan Wellness Centre, Dr. Vijay Pratap Kushvaha, CEO & Managing Director of Ayurvita Healthcare, Sudhamoy Khasnobis, Founder of LifeUno, and Sagar Vazare, Director of Kiaan Wellness, shared insights on how to incorporate wellness practices into everyday life, blending traditional medicine with modern healthcare.
The event also featured the prestigious Healthcare Innovation Excellence Awards, recognizing individuals and organizations that have made remarkable contributions to healthcare innovation and wellness. Among the awardees were Dr. Shalaka Sawant, Mr. Rahul Datta, Col. (retd) Dr. Sunil Rao, and many more industry leaders who have excelled in their respective fields. In addition to these honors, special category awards like the Marketing Maverick Award and the Inspirational Woman in Healthcare Award were presented, acknowledging outstanding achievements in various areas of the healthcare industry.
