For the first time, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi took home both the swimming and water polo trophies, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s sports achievements.

He set a new meet record in the 50m Backstroke event and secured two Gold medals in both the 50m Backstroke and 100m Breaststroke events. Additionally, he won a Silver medal in the 50m Breaststroke, further adding to the institution’s celebration. In water polo, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi triumphed against the reigning champions, IIT Madras, in a fiercely contested semifinal match, and went on to defeat IIT Bombay in the final.
