Premium work wear brand FableStreet has announced the appointment of Adarsh Sharma as part of its senior leadership team.
The appointment comes as part of the brand’s strategy that aims at expanding its product offering across newer segments and fortifying its online presence.
Sharma has been appointed as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and will be leading the online business at FableStreet.
Sharma comes with a strong understanding and experience of 10 years with India’s top online start-ups such as Junglee Games and has worked in key business leadership roles at Rebel Foods and Zomato. Sharma ran his own startup, Plowns, in the kids’ technology space for three years before joining FableStreet.
Welcoming him on board, Ayushi Gudwani, Founder, FableStreet, said, “Adarsh’s strong background in the online space will bring in the right expertise on scaling up both the D2C business as well as growing the brand on third-party marketplaces. Adarsh’s understanding of online brands like Rebel Foods and his experience working on his own startup, where the primary customers were mothers, makes him a perfect fit for the company. He has the right skill set as well as the required consumer understanding to help the brand scale to newer heights. We are excited to have him on board.”
Expressing his excitement on joining FableStreet, Sharma said, “My family and friends have been FableStreet customers and brand advocates since the inception of the brand. But after meeting Ayushi, I am impressed with her vision and understanding the uniqueness of every woman. She has created a brand that caters to their needs.
“Another reason that strengthened my belief in the company was when during the lockdown when mostly all brands were impacted by the pandemic, FableStreet showed tremendous agility in the tough phase, and came out a lot stronger as a brand. This was an ever bigger reason to work with the team — long-term vision joined with short-term agility.”
