In her new role, Darekar will be responsible for shaping the content strategy for Shemaroo’s Hindi GEC cluster, overseeing the conceptualization, development, and execution of engaging content for Shemaroo TV & Shemaroo Umang.
Darekar, a seasoned professional in the General Entertainment Channel domain, brings a wealth of experience to Shemaroo. Her track record includes key roles at Colors (Viacom18) and Sony Entertainment Television (Sony Pictures Networks), where she significantly contributed to the success of various shows, such as ‘Barrister Babu,’ ‘Mere Sai,’ and ‘Patiala Babes.’
